Well, I have been putting this off all day. I just haven't been ready to fess up I guess. Remember those couple weeks where I only lost one pound? Well what could be worse, besides gaining a pound.
We took a step backwards this week, but not for lack of trying. I have promised to be candid and honest in this blog so I won't lie that my portion control over the last two weeks has been very poor. I don't know if it's the excitement of being almost done, or if it is simply the holiday temptations, but I have been struggling the whole week. Not to mention my sweet tooth is gripping on a little harder than normal. I want candy and/or donuts at least twice a day....not that I satisfy that need or anything but man is it pulling at me.
My coach mentioned that she had spoken with someone (a specialist I think) about how a woman's body retains what very easily when on this diet, and sweating and working out only accentuates that effect. Meaning mostly it's water weight. So I'm taking some time off from my brand new gym membership and drinking gallons of water, and hopefully that will do the trick for me to lost the weight I need to. No more overdosing this week either....this is it, the final stretch and I am desperate to make it!!!
